From his native Italy, Don Pascual Toso arrived in Mendoza, Argentina in 1890. Here, he started growing grapes for wine, following the fine-wine-making tradition of his country and beginning a century of family ownership of vineyards and wineries, always seeking to attain perfection in the art of wine-making.
In 1995, one of his grandson, Pascual Toso and his sons, owners of extensive vineyards in Barrancas, in the district of Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina, founded a new enterprise, a vinery, skillfully combining a century old artisanship in fine wine-making with considerable reseach and experimentation in new techniques, always pointing to new standards of excellency.
